All-year round support

All sorts of gifted people are needed to plan and prepare for the next HBW on our teams and Committee - if you'd like to be considered, contact the Chair by emailing from this LINK!

Helpers

Mature committed Christians are essential for supervising the work with children at HBW - if your Church minister feels you are suitable, there is probably a role for you helping at HBW. However there is also opportunity for sympathetic "non-committed" in certain roles.Young helpers are often in this position – having some sort of attachment to a church, but without having discovered for themselves that God really is real! They often grow as much themselves in the week as the children they help with, discovering things they've just simply never been told!

Church Representatives

HBW needs to keep in good contact with local churches to ensure they know the latest about the event and are able to participate fully. This usually happens periodically, and then more regularly in the run up to the 'Main Event'. Wanted are people who can receive the latest mailing, and then stand before their church, distribute literature or stick up a poster to drum-up enthusiasm at key stages of development. If you would like to be - or help - such a 'Rep', get in touch and we'll arrange to link you up.

Prayer

Christians believe that unless God is involved, the best plans of mankind will untimately fail. Prayer (talking to God) is essential to keep a relationship going with him, and prayer for HBW happens formally and informally throughout the year.
